Its basically a slap in the face - thats why it has to be a problem. Everything on the forum doesn't appear to be a problem, the complaints are warranted. Soon does not mean a year. If people don't raise their voice, it may not be until years until things are fixed. Its nice that they asked us people which we want to suffer as we watch the 1% flaunt the rest of our time in the game? Yes - Nice.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit cruel that they asked the majority of players what they would like to see on the relics when only 1% of the players will ever even have one?
If it would be so easy to get, then it wouldn't be a relic...

Anyways - its cruel to ask the majority for what the minority will have. Its basically rubbing it in the face of the majority that they can never have it.
Well who are they suppose to ask then?
Nobody. They should ask players about things players can actually get. That players can actually influence.

Amakna hates summons - particularly sadida summons. They are not meant to survive... ever.

I wasn't arguing for it to be easy. Though if on the topic, easier does not mean easy. As it is now its not hard to get relics, its a complete waste of time. Its simply a matter of time, luck, and multi counting. Sure relics are the superior equipment in the game, but why is it tailored to the time/multicounting constraints? It should be hard to get - not obnoxious or nigh impossible to get for anyone who does not have multiple enus, no life, and full parties at all times.

Anyways - its cruel to ask the majority for what the minority will have. Its basically rubbing it in the face of the majority that they can never have it.

What scares me is what I have a feeling they are going to do. They are probably going to implement the all items craftable from drops from the dungeon. However make it some ridiculously high amount. With some bugged drop rate. While removing the ability to drop those items in the dungeon by themselves... In essence, make everything kin to relics.

Ankama say to us, in effect:

"We understand this drop system is very difficult for our players. We don't want you to suffer. Improvements are incoming very shortly."

They then cut the maximum Prospecting available to increase drop rolls.

"This decrease in Prospecting is the beginning of a Prospecting Lock and Drop Rate Revamp. The reduced ability to successfully drop the rarest items is soon to be balanced by an increase in their base drop rates."

Then they nerf Sidekicks to drop like normal players, but without the benefit of PP gear.

"Our team is working very hard, and does not have time to explain itself to you. The Revamp is still coming very soon, just around the corner. Be patient."

Meanwhile, we can hardly unlock a Relic Fragment Drop, let alone actually catch one, with such reduced PP.

"Oh look, here's another Island that has taken an untold amount of time and effort to make. Here, we'll make the dungeons optionally harder, so you have a double chance of dropping the rarest items."

A super-hard double-chance at an almost-nothing rate, nearly impossible to unlock regardless. Nothing else incoming that we can see.

"Please be patient, we're working hard, changes will be here soon."

No. Soon was months ago. Details are due. Changes are past due. We've been stumbling around with a drastically reduced dropping ability for over 1/4 of a year, already. We need this revamp now, thank you very much.
Though not as major, I'd like to add the -10 PP from the QuackQuack... because clearly we've been getting too much PP and dropping things like crazy.

Yes - We can QQ harder about this. We are, however, attempting to be civil be limiting are QQing to this much. You yourself admit the system isn't perfect - this implies that there is room and need for improvement. The majority is unable to get what they need, let alone being more than able to obtain it. When it takes 3-4 months to obtain one piece of equipment and by the time you drop it you out level is by 15-20 lvls... something is wrong.

Everyone is working with handicaps, but why are handicaps necessary? Why can't the game be played like a... game? Where people can have hope of obtaining things in a reasonable amount of time? Where people are not stagnant damage wise from lvl 100-130?

If crying on the forums isn't going to help, where would you advise us to do so that would be the most effective? So far there have been some responses in the past, so we know that someone is at least reading them. Whereas other attempts have fallen on deaf ears. So it is much more likely to help than doing nothing.

I just don't think Ankama realizes that this is the most important thing. New content is not important if the majority of players don't have access to old content. People are unable to get equipment anywhere near the appropriate level or in appropriate time.

We need this revamp. Not soon, but now.

What they don't tell you - Is that the hardcore drop rates are going to be the same as normal. If you don't do hardcore it will be relic rarity with 800 PP lock...

In terms of nerfs, Wakfu is on the tame edge. Dofus is horrific for getting nerfed.
When dofus nerfs your class, it doesn't mess around. They send it back to the stone age. They don't just slightly decrease the damage of your spells there; they remove spell effects entirely. Just imagine a full on wakfu revamp of just nerfs. You should be happy that wakfu doesn't nuke classes in a similar fashion.
They're just not brave enough to completely nerf us yet. First they need to see how loyal we are. After doing this again and again. It'll get worse. Until all there is will be nerfs. Things like AP necklaces are too powerful and shouldn't be obtainable till lvl 100+.... MP breastplates discourages people from statting MP so lets make that 140+ content... but in the process raise MP to equal AP in the stats... They'll do it. Just you wait

From what you said my advice would be:

1. Earth Fogger - Best damage/tank imo
2. Feca - Amazing Tank/Locker (lowish damage)
3. Panda -Deals good damage - can be tankish if earth...
4. Earth Sac - Poor damage, great tanking.

Category: Relics

Question: Is there any talk about improving the relic system further? As it is now, certain relics are utterly pointless to grind for. The gelano provides a +AP, but nobody will grind jellies long enough to get it because the later relics make it obsolete. If there isn't an improvement in the relic system, the lower lvl relics gelano and the necklace will be mostly ignored.

Its sad that we'll never see the gelano relic though. Who in their right mind would grind jellies over ice chafers or wabbits? If you're going to waste 400+ hours trying to get a relic, it might as well be a good one right?

Maybe make relic fragments droppable in groups - so when running dungeon the boss has 10% chance of dropping 1, 1% chance of dropping 10, and .01% chance of dropping 20. Or better yet, combine the old and new systems. Where you still have a very small chance of dropping the whole piece as well as fragments?
