SHOP AMAKNA! bids Wakfu farewell Unless someone else wishes to take charge, the Friday night event will no longer be held. Thank you to all those participating merchants and players we have had over the past 9 months.

The June 28th BEST WEAPONS merchant title competition has also been cancelled.

PvP and GvG ? What exactly is this game about, anyway? Is there an 'opt-out' or 'NO PvP/No GvG' choice a player can make? Are millennial players just interested in fighting each other?

Good to hear that certain changes will be delayed in order to work out the bugs first.

Spazturtle is correct. Giving each nation, and their varying ecosystems, their own specific type of grass tile would be a great addition.

According to Wikipedia, you have over 3,500 types of earth grasses to choose from.

Azael, are there any other ideas or areas regarding Wakfu's geography and ecosystems that you would like our feedback on? We players seem to be see-sawing back and forth between sticking to your subject and veering off onto different topics as we are wont to do....

Hmmm. That means the Rocky Mountains are a U.S. geographical anomaly? I am aware of the mythology of Dofus' destruction. However, I also bear in mind that this is, after all, a game, which tries to be geographically/ecologically analogous to the real world. Tries is the operative verb here, since so often the efforts do not seem scientifically - or meteorologically - sound.

Slaughtered creatures provide source materials for clothing, not complete prefabricated ready-to-wear capes, breastplates, etcetera, much less 'coins of the realm.' I was merely musing on a visually arresting world map, is all. Mea culpa, Spazturtle. Mea maxima culpa.

Pooley, seeing your spoiler world map, I could not help but think of an island caldera, similar to the Greek island of Santorini, where the volcanic explosion ripped the island apart, leaving the central caldera torn apart from the rest of the island, which clusters around it in pieces.

It would be impressive to think of Ogrest's torrential, earth-altering tears as a tidal volcano, to see Ogrest from afar, sitting in the middle of a caldera with unscalable cliffs.

Speaking of cliffs, where are they in Wakfu? True mountains...on which Dofus survivors may have clung, along with animal species.

May I suggest you move this notice to a more appropriate server, such as Remington? Not that it isn't great and all, Ankama being present at MCM/London, but for those of us who don't have our own private jet, or travel internationally on business, this is a bit out of our way.

May I suggest free shipping internationally for this weekend event for everyone? That would spread the WAKFU joy around...

Good day or evening, Azael. Thank you for asking for player feedback regarding your ideas. I've spoken to several veteran players, and their general consensus is, they like the idea of Capitals. In addition, they are under the impression that since you wish to dedicate 'areas' of the city to crafts, smithing, market etcetera that the nation's cities will disappear. Each city's identity is dedicated to a particular set of professions; therefore, the reason for their continued existence is made moot, except for the haven-worlds currently attached to them. Is this a likely outcome of this change from HQs to capitals?

You state that trade bridges are to disappear in order to to 'centralize different elements.' Could you elaborate on what these 'elements' are? Of the veteran players I have spoken to, none can exactly explain why these bridges are referred to as 'trade bridges' - irregardless, would you outline how it follows that the replacement of HQs by capitals requires the removal of these bridges, unless it is Area's wish to make four huge islands of the four nations?

The veterans are all for the repositioning of the dragoturkeys. My question is about the Zaaps. I cannot but help think that they are to 'disappear' completely, despite the promise of one being added to each new Clan member's location. The past two weeks has seen a huge number of established players running from dragoturkey station to station, making certain all are in their 'memory.'

Letting governments place taxes on dragoturkeys is a nightmare waiting to happen. Most governments, with few exceptions, are not there to govern, they are there to 'play around' and 'be cool.'

Allowing the introduction of exported species is just another way for nations to play war - it seems eco-terrorism will become Wakfu's version of chemical warfare. Can you not see 100 members of an army or guild, each armed with 1000 seeds per member, de- and then re- populating entire areas in a single hour?

I will continue to monitor player discussions, and ask for opinions. And thank you again for asking for player input.

A Pledge To Wakfu @ Nox Server Whereas, Food For Life is a guild established for the sole purpose of providing food at affordable prices to all Wakfu players on the Nox Server;

And whereas a current revamp has caused food prices to skyrocket - a loaf of Rye Bread at 24 kamas, a vial of Kenko at 500+ kamas, a bottle of api juice at 15 kamas; and these prices are outrageous, unreasonable and unacceptable;

Food For Life pledges to all Wakfu players that it will continue to provide food at pre-revamp prices. Very high-level food products (90 and above) will see a small price increase - 10% at most. To keep our prices low, and make certain they are bought by players for their personal use and not for resale, Food For Life will sell products as follows:

1. We will post on the Trade Forum where we will be offering our goods on that day - the nation (s), area (s) or city (cities), and times.
2. Your name & Guild (if applicable) are required. A one-time-only non-refundable registration fee of 20 kamas will allow you to make purchases. This information is updated every night at midnight PST.
3. If it is discovered that you are reselling our products, we have the right to refund your registration fee and refuse to sell to you.
4. Arrangements for large orders of 100-packs must be made in advance at amakna village 's Order Forum. You will be contacted when & where to pick up your order.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you; however, we think charging 24 kamas (or dollars) for a loaf of bread is criminal, regardless of how much money you have.

SHOP AMAKNA! Tonight at Crusty Road 04/12/13 8, 9 and 10 PM Eastern Standard Time

Once again it's Friday. Tonight at Crusty Road's Market Square, we will randomly select a merchant each hour (as listed above) to have a secret shopper spend 100 kamas on the merchandise at their stall. A few rules:

1) Merchant winner must have at least one item priced at 100 kamas or less. A single grain of wheat at 100 kamas is NOT acceptable.
2 ) If all items are grossly overpriced, another winner will be selected. For example: a loaf of Sandwich bread priced at 25 kamas.
3) If the majority of items are priced at 1 to 2 kamas each, the secret shopper may choose to spend only a portion of the 100 kamas and then select another winner.
4) If a winner's entire stock is bought, and kamas are left over, another winner will be selected and the remaining kamas spent.

Players and merchants from all nations are encouraged to take part in this event. Announcement are made on the red recruitment channel to give warnings that the selection of the winner will soon take place.

Crusty Road - where buyers and sellers come to meet, greet and eat!
