It's range gets higher the more its leveled

Though keep in mind they are going to be changing its max range to 6 in the coming updates

For the Makabrards / Dagger combo, will that still be good after the predicted Air Cra changes coming? Would getting a weapon with range be the thing to do?

BW would be good til they nerf the Range on HV then I think I'd rather use a WC ammy. IMO.

And Ringapult is better , but probably harder to get as well.

ringapult is the best possible ring you could get. It's harder to get by a LONG SHOT and you'd have to rune it making it even more difficult.

WC amulet is gonna still be better after the range nerf for pvp if you want the extra damage BW amulet is good. They are both viable and highly situational.

As far as makacards/dagger goes I use a freyyrs bow now which is the same damage but with an added range but its also very expensive.

Cards/dagger again would probably be better then a makabow but that's just me enjoying the extra damage I like to stay above 430%

The only thing really needing to be changed here is me changing the heightened vision screen shot.

Builds will be the same since air cra didn't get touched with the exception of passives I guess i'll have to look into riddling as well since I don't understand what they changed about it yet but yeah

My suggestion is while the nerf to beacon sneakin and heightened vision do in fact suck it's not the end of the world and doesn't make them useless same goes for cra precision. Air cras should still go for double storm 1 plague and should still stat the same passives that I have listed here i'll be making MINOR tweaks to the wording and descriptions but thats about it

The BIGGEST thing... it no longer takes mp/wp into account... only ap. So storm arrow only applies 3 instead of 5.



here's the basics of riddling:

lvl1: 10% chance to apply +1 riddle per AP used
lvl 10: 100% chance to apply +1 riddle per AP used

lvl 11: 100% chance of +1 riddle per AP and another 10% chance for +1 more per AP used.
lvl 20: 100% chance for +1 riddle per AP and another 100% chance for +1 more per AP used.

So at maxed level, you'll always apply AP*2 riddle stacks. 10 AP air cras will be guaranteed 20 riddle per turn if target is within range/los.

Btw, this adds reach too. Exact same amount per level.

I'm actually a little bit confused about reach what exactly does it do? I noticed it yesterday but theres no description on its icon (unless there's one on riddlings description now) but thanks for explaining that I haven't had much time to hop on wakfu lately so it's taking me a bit to figure out what they changed with this update

reach is there to balance out destructive arrow. I'll describe reach after this next part:
I'll explain why they thought it was necessary:


Imagine two cras that have 10 and 9 AP respectively. First cra uses double SA+plague for 10AP = 20 riddle stack.

Next cra uses 1 riddle arrow for 3AP = 6riddle+1bonus riddle. That's 26 riddle stacked. And he can then use destructive arrow for 66+ 26*2 (or *3 if crit) base damage.


Larger groups of cra would stack riddle to 100 instantly and let the last cra destruct for 266 or 366(crit) base damage on destructive arrow (split as a hit of 66 base then 200 or 300).


To stop abuse like this... each time YOU stack riddle, YOU gain reach.
Destructive arrow will not consume all riddle stack.... it'll only consume as much riddle as you have reach.

Imagine you and another cra can stack 20 riddle a turn. Each of you goes and the target has 40 riddle. However each cra only has 20 reach.

You use destructive arrow. Since you only have 20 reach, you'll only consume 20 stacks of riddle, even though the mob has 40 riddle.


Note that if you kill a mob, you don't lose your reach stacks.... they're on a timer just like riddle. If you don't attack something(and apply riddle via passive) you lose them. So if you build up your reach to 50+ by killing weak mobs... then on a fresh mob, both you and your friend can build him up to 40 riddle in one turn and you'll consume the whole stack when you use destructive.... since you already had 50+ reach.

@Mini, well one minor thing about air cra changed that is bugging me personally a lot. I am talking about the tornado proc nerf on crits. I feel a lot weaker through this...

40% proc down to 30% proc. base damage on average will be down by about 5 points.

No problem ^^

I played around a lot with destructive and riddle arrow while in the respec area.

Edit: nvm seems that even if you have more reach than riddle, you wont lose your whole reach stack. They're rather nice about it. You'll only lose enough reach to remove the riddle on the mob.

That's a huge difference but I mean what exactly are you asking about it? Like my opinion of it? o.o

If it's something thats gonna bother you changing elements is always an option.
