WAKFU Update: A Game of Thwones Discover the new content that will be implemented with the update of August 27th!Read the complete changelog here.

Today, we reveal the first part of the new content that will arrive in game on August 27th.

The second part describing additional improvements and bug fixes will be communicated in the coming days.

Enjoy!

Wabbit Island

Don’t trust their fluffiness: Wabbits are voracious little things! Or, vowacious…

You’ll have the opportunity to find out by yourself with this exclusive come back!

On August 27th, you’ll get to sail to Wabbit Island!

This new area will be the perfect place for characters from level 120 to 150, and should prove a wowthy challenge…

If you want to know more about this new Adventure Island (new quests, monsters families, dungeons and items), just check out its history, and its content!

Characters level up to 140

You read it right; Wabbit Island will welcome characters from level 120 to 150!

For the occasion, we will raise the level cap to 140, and implement equipment that goes with!

But, before you rush headlong , here’s something you might want to know. Monsters families will have a combat bonus if your character has a lower level than the minimum level of this family. For example, for a family level 135-150, this bonus will trigger against characters below level 135, and not apply against characters level 135 and higher.

If only some characters of your team don’t have the minimum level, this bonus will only trigger against them! Everything will be explained clearly in game with combat states.

Better prepare for real challenging fights against the last family of the island…

Revamp of the Eniripsa and implementation of Class respecs

It’s now the turn of the Eniripsa!

Discover all the changes brought to this healing class in this Devblog.

A respec will also be offered to everyone.

Warning: this will be the last “global” respec offered on WAKFU.

Starting from October, we will only offer free respecs to the specific classes that received a revamp of significant changes. Any minor modification or bug fixing will not lead to a respect. However, should a class receive many minor changes, we might decide to offer a respect as well.

In any case, we will always announce the classes for which a respec will be provided, in the changelog coming with the update.

Novelties for your Haven Worlds

The auctions of this month that had to be canceled prematurely will start over again when the servers reopen on August 27th.

Starting from the following day, 4 new Haven worlds will be put on auction each week!

We will also implement:
  • New decorations in the Wabbit theme,
  • New buildings: Stasilizer (allowing you to destroy monsters groups), Rotcere Bazaar (Kit Skill bonus) and Kama Minting Machine of level 2 (new recipe),
  • Possibility to sit on benches and stools in Haven Worlds (and Haven Bags),
  • New Handymen recipe: Wells,
  • The standard in your Guild Hall and in front of the entrance of your Haven World will now display your guild colors.

The Dragon Pig is back

And he is not happy!

Of course, he used the opportunity to practice and perfect his technics: new combat area, modifications of his spells, additional resists, and many other surprises await you…

We will give you the entire list of changes on Monday, in the complete changelog (expect spoilers).

Until then, get ready, and practice like never before!

Globalization hits WAKFU

Here’s something that should have quite an impact on the economy of the World of Twelve… To end the economic and demographic monopole of some Nations over the others, Markets will now become international!

What this means is that you will be able to access the entire market from any Marketplace of your Nation… Say goodbye to unfair competition… Although…

Concerning taxes, the rules will remain unchanged: the taxes of the Nation from which you’re trying to sell the item will apply. Only Haven Worlds and Kelba markets will remain independent and allow you to feed a parallel market…

Gazette

Don’t forget that a part of the Gazette is now here just for you! Have a small announcement to share? A slogan or false advertising for us? Send your ideas to your Community Manager, we will retain the funniest for publication in the next gazette.

Looking forward to these changes and additions. Question: Will professions that craft equipment be able to go beyond level 100? Otherwise what is the use if equipment beyond 100-ish can't be crafted?

This is something that will be worked on with the overall craft revamp, scheduled for October.

I'm going to cry.

In other news, international market, new HW buildings, and class-specific respecs are all welcome additions. This is turning out to be one absolutely incredible update.

What is the though behind keeping Kelba and Haven World markets separate from the mains ones?

With the new Kama recipes will the current 'rare spawn' ores we have that may (or may not) be included in the new recipes be made useless like last time? What is the point in saving those current useless items in preparation for a future use if when they get a recipe the current in-game ones are changed so everyone who spent time collecting them gets screwed?

The market merge is good long term as well.

When they get rid of trade bridges and add capitals their will be one market location per nation.

"they killed dragon pig on nox by using an AI bug that meant they would always win"

"o. Let's take 3 months to reprogram his AI so he can't be bugged, as we are also increasing the level cap lets also make him harder."

Fix'd

This update looks nice, it will be nice to see the best healing class revamped.

It's nice that the market is international but all nations are the same and with exactly the same resources so people will still go with bonta. Level 1-50 equips don't matter or are hard to drop (ty drop rates )

Well now we don't HAVE to go to Bonta to check the market board.
If only Crusty had a Drago close by still. Maybe Swords.
5th will be all about pvp and trade chat spamming (I'm guilty of both).

There is such thing as heaven-bag shops, and there will be a place where people would open their haven-bags, and that place would be bonta 5

I do not know what should happen to move them from b5 to some other place. (maybe super-globalization by merging int market with kelba market + all major guilds build a haven-world marketplace)

It will happen when they'll get rid of the bridges and make capital cities.

About HW: Nice to see we can use our stools and benches! Hahaha. Question: Will we ever be able to move quarries? I kinda got super excited about them and now they just stay in the middle of the way. :/

there will be 4 capitals and one will definitely be more populated than the others. You already know what that nation that would be
