Yes, at least this is how it works with the Wisdom Flask (which I've used) so I assume the same thing applies to the prospecting flask.

Does 40 PP even make a difference? I mean - I run with a 150 PP enu and they get nothing ever... Does PP actually do anything? I have the suspicion that PP never worked and everything dropped is anecdotal coincidence.

PP isn't worth it, I mean, even b4 the PP lock, teams with over 2000pp have like what... 6% chance to drop a 0.3% item, which you might not even get even if it drops once you fail to obtain it with your roll. Drop rate rework any day soon?

knew it ^^ this is what happens when you go f2p
people saying 40 prospecting doesn't matter are trying to cover it up (I"m assuming)..from what I've tested it makes A LOT of difference

don't think this will save you from giving us the drop revamp you owe us ankama

Meh... I hope in the future they at least sell something like the potions they gave when they made a mistake or when something they couldn't prevent happened. It's been a while so I forget the name. Anyways, something that at least lasts a week with maybe a double exp boost at least... that would seem more worth the money that would be forever lost as a digital experience.

Do you mean Mea Culpa? Yeah, they haven't given any out in a while have they despite so many complications.

Anyway, as for what I think about this... It was inevitable, and I've seen some forumers even ask Ankama to put this in because WAPAC had it. So eh. I'm not buying it though haha. It's like gambling, put money into this and your chances of winning something from the lottery is upped for 5 chances. Nope.

lol wow

We need some heavy artillery for PP. 40% is like using a tictac for deodorant after not showering for 3 weeks. In b4 fear fizz disappears or gets nerfed.

F2p now. Got to make monies somehow.

These state players gain 40 PERCENT. Is that different than gaining 40 prospecting or wisdom?

The potions say they add 40pp / 40wisdom in the description on the encyclopedia.
40% is a poor choice of wording when pp / wisdom can be altered ingame.

playing with challenges already brings you to 150+ (my enu might be 300+) so no thx for plain 40pp

when I first saw the topic with the shiny 40 % (percent) drop that made me think "here we come, p2w is here"

reading the topic carefully made me "meh~", useless, basically these are the old pp candies

posté July 16, 2014, 17:39:08 | #15
they potion do NOT give you 40 wiz or 40pp, it alows you to exceed the maximum amount of 150 by 40%, learn to read pleople...

Hi guys,

To clarify the information regarding the 2 Flasks.

The Wisdom Flask will increase your Wisdom by +40, therefore increasing your experience gain by 40%.

The Prospecting Flask will increase your prospecting by +40, therefore increasing your drop rate by 40%.

Also both of these will each last for 5 battles maximum with the Prospecting and Wisdom bonuses being capped at 150 maximum.

I hope this helps and thank you for the feedback you have already shared with us.

well what sucks is that we use to get INDIVIDUAL PP candy with subs.

Which we could split up HOWEVER we wanted between the alts on our accounts. Now we get these and well, they don't split up so easily.

No thank you

therefore increasing your experience gain by 40%.

therefore increasing your drop rate by 40%.
Except again terrible wording. It could easily be taken that this increases final prospecting.
For example a total of 200 pp becomes 280.

Again, it does not increase your drop rate by 40%, not when there is a cap in game, unless the potion lets you bypass the cap - which is something you should mention.
