If I have the drop system correct Prospecting will only increase a drop rate by half it's value every interval of 50PP. So example a drop rate of 1% will become 1.5% at 50PP and 2% at 100PP and 3% at 150PP. If I have this wrong just say so and i'll stfu, but why cap the potion at 40PP when 50PP is the amount that will allow people to see ANY difference. I'll stick with Alma candies, 60PP is much better and it's free.

therefore increasing your experience gain by 40%.

therefore increasing your drop rate by 40%.
Except again terrible wording. It could easily be taken that this increases final prospecting.
For example a total of 200 pp becomes 280.

Again, it does not increase your drop rate by 40%, not when there is a cap in game, unless the potion lets you bypass the cap - which is something you should mention.

Please choose better words to communicate with your customers. Use examples, atleast this question was answered relatively quickly.
I will explain it to you! The prospecting stats gives you % for drop chance
The wisdom stat (you can mouseover stats to see what they do) gives you % xp, so when you have 400PP it means you have 400% better chance to drop something, now they will give you 40PP more, it means you will have 440% Got it?

Ignoring the fact that you sound incredibly patronising. Prospecting and wisdom cap at 150, so from the beginning they should have just said what the item does, which is increase the prospecting or wisdom stat by 40. Rather than try to sell it as a percentage increase.

playing with challenges already brings you to 150+ (my enu might be 300+) so no thx for plain 40pp

when I first saw the topic with the shiny 40 % (percent) drop that made me think "here we come, p2w is here"

reading the topic carefully made me "meh~", useless, basically these are the old pp candies
So too much is pay to win and too little nobody wants it.

What value would hit right in the middle?

It's more about the situation past subscribers find themselves now in for me. Yet again something else that was taken away from subscribers after the move to F2P. I'm so glad Ankama reassured all of us subscribers by saying NOTHING WOULD BE TAKEN AWAY. All they've done... is take stuff away. Did anyone out there benefit or at the very least stay the same as before?

One simple fact remains. I'm getting less for my subscription now.

I agree, until they give us our prospecting candies back I'm going to make sure everyone sees what ankama is doing.
