Hello,i got a couple of questions,1st of all im an old dofus/wakfu player but i was kinda retired,i notice now that we having a cbt on steam atm but i was wondering that if there is a way to get a cbt at this moment or not.
Another question i have is that i read somewhere that wakfu its now free to play that meaning that was like Wakfu APAC where we can be free to explore and play all the zones without the subscription model we use in the past,its this true?
3rd question is this steam cbt its gonna end by having their own server but with the same caracteristics that we have or they are gonna have other system and stuff or is this gonna work for old players like us,we moving to steam too?

PD: i would really appreciate any kind of info u guys can give me about this and if some1 have a spare cbt key i would love to have it and give a good use i promise

1. Yes, beta keys are available. You can find the link via the Wakfu steam community group. Or clicking here. The keys are currently given out, but they post on the steam group when more are available so keep an eye out.

2. Yes, you can access all content of the game for free with exception to french servers.

3. There are no plans for a steam server. Currently they connect to international servers. The game is exactly the same except you can connect your steam account with an ankama account and play the game.

Just to add on - The most recently released zones will be inaccessible to f2p players - In this case it's enurado (srambad is still locked though,,, no clue if they forgot or have done it deliberately though)
Youll also suffer slight exp / drop penalties (30% less and no alt-character multiplier) and wont have access to the account shared chest. In saying that, you definitely get A LOT to work with without paying a cent if you decide to go f2p.

What is SQ? If you mean Square Enix you should write SE.

Also Steam isn't a publisher. It is a distribution platform. If you cannot see the fundamental difference between a publisher and a platform, you probably shouldn't write something about those two.

No because they are just using steam to launch the game and connect to the servers that everyone else uses.

LOL. Steam Server is the APAC server. xD You can't even link your Remington/Nox/Dathura account in it.

@Solstice
Have two steam accounts, one each for a different Wakfu account and they both work for Nox for me.

If you really think steam is only for APAC, you might have some problems.

One was done during Steam Beta, the other after release, both times able to select the server I wanted.

Just a heads up: both APAC and INT are on Steam as of the 18th. They are currently region locked, which is why Solstice is having an issue linking their account. We expect a fix to this within the next 2 weeks, meaning you can choose to download the INT or APAC clients. But at the moment you'll just have to hold tight and wait it out
