Today's Almanax is much easier and probably makes up for yesterday being a pain. The offering is x2 Essence of Thistledown, crafted from x3 Crowned Thistle, a level zero Herbalist harvest.

Underhand was nerfed quite heavily with last patch, do you still think it's worth maxing as hybrid? Or Aging or Tempral Distortions seem better idea now?

It's good as a cheap utility skill that can ensure that enemies never start next to you. That being said, I think there are better options. I recently switched back to an initiative burner build which is pretty great for PvM now.

Because of the massive amounts of % damage air/fire can achieve now it's not bad going back into Aging at all. You can get good air damage out of a 2 AP investment in an AoE. I took Hand, Temporal Dust, Aging, Temporal Distortion, and Xelor's Punishment. Each for their own reasons.

One special thing to note is that if you decide to go into the air/fire initiative burner route, that Temporal Waves is not worth it and does little to improve your damage. That passive is only worth it as an AP stealer for the improved theft chances or as a tribrid build. The specialties I would take are Xelor's Dial, Temporal Prism, Rollback, Timekeeper, Devotion, Desynchronization, and Mummification.

I'll update this guide at some point later on to include all this information.

I noticed that too... But right clicking makes me move tiles and if it's a self casting spell I can't cancel.

Btw, Zhao, you can get 5 almanax tokens from an Al Howin achievement. That's all they're going to give us.

Oh try right-clicking outside of your MP range. It's a wonky temporary solution, obviously not flawless.

This has happened to me a lot too. The only temporary solution I know of is right-clicking if you do this to cancel the action. I hope they fix it soon where you don't have to resort to this though.

Hope that tidbit of advice helps.

Didnt they say that fecas will be the last one?

There's a lot of talk that they may swap the Feca revamp with the Pandawa revamp, making Pandawa the last to be updated and Feca next month.

Could be interesting. The Feca overhaul is by far the most complex one. As Asthis said, I would be prepared for a number of bugs with the class.

Does nobody wonder who the dark bull guy next to Justice Knight Jr is?

this fella?

His names "Ombre"

He was an exclusive boss at the Ankama booth at Japan Expo 2013. Defeating him with pre-configured characters earned you a code to redeem the Jailer of Shadows title on your real character.

A lot of the people who have the badge aren't supposed to have it (e.g. I have it on my accounts even though I did not participate in the beta). I imagine it's not a necessarily high priority on the list of things to do around here since it's been like this as long as I could remember. Best to ignore it, it's fairly benign.

I almost don't want to show you this because your build is so good already.

Eskarina recently posted that Mekanno is being changed to be a two-handed weapon. I am so sad right now.

Runes in a Nutshell:

Combining two of the same exact powder of rune will allow you to raise the grade of its level or rarity.

The level determines what level gear you can put the rune in. The rune must be an equal or higher level than the item itself. The level of the rune does not affects its bonuses at all. A level 100 orange rune can give the same stats as a level 200 orange rune. A level 200 orange rune can go into a level 100 item. A level 100 rune cannot go in a level 200 item.

The rarity determines the range of possible bonuses. For example, a white level 100 rune may offer 1-1% fire/air damage, a green level 100 rune may offer 1-3% fire/air damage, and a yellow level 100 rune may offer 1-5% fire/air damage.

Crushing items yields powder. The rarity of the item will have an effect on the rarity and level of the powder. You can combine powders like runes. There seems to be no difference in your decision to combine the powders or the runes.

Wakfu-Elements Delay Hey guys, Mango here.

Just forwarding some information from Boredom that it's going to be a couple days (edit: as in one or two days) before he can update Wakfu-Elements for this latest patch. He's at a work conference and cannot even access the forums.

Busy guy (in other words he knows there was a patch, you guys can stop PM'ing him about it now). In the meantime, we'll have to rough in the old way of finding things out.

Holy yes they fixed Show Off on Iop and side/backstab on Fire Eniripsa marks. After seeing the entire patch notes I'm a ton more excited.

For the most part, you've impressed me Ankama. I'm a little disappointed to see Hammers in the boutique, but sans for that (and a few other gripes that I won't mention), excellent work.

Toggle Sprites Off Lately I've been having issues while fighting large enemies (Whispered Cracklers) that their sprites are just too crazy big and I have issues seeing behind them, even with transparency on.

It would be nice if there was a quick toggle to deactivate sprites on the battlefield to get a clearer view of what's happening during the battle.

The respec is so that people can make fast changes to take on Frigost content if their current build was affected by the changes, or a chance to switch out to another build to tackle out the new content even if you weren't affected. Its purpose I don't think is so vague as just a free respec.

It took Dofus many years before a disconnection system was implemented. Also, remember that these are different developers, as well as they are working with a different language than what the Dofus developers use.

Even if they are the same company working on these games, GodIsWithUs is very right. Different devleopers, different programming language. It isn't as easy as just migrating the system over.

But it's definitely a feature that everyone wants to see come back. Dofus' reconnect system was flawless.

• Mango

Edit @Hatespawn: They're only giving compensation when the disconnect issue was on their end, e.g. during the DDoS server issues. If the disconnect was triggered because of personal network lag or a hardware issue I don't think they'll dispense the comp scrolls. Also they give comp for when boss achieves invulnerability for the three idle turns.

Wait a second...

At 0:33 of the video, where it shows a bunch of adventurers chilling in a cabin, there are two Feca women. They have non-Feca hair styles. The one in the middle has what looks like the Sram ponytail, while it looks like the one in the bottom right has the longer Sadida style.

Inter-class wig-swapping?

Nice attention to detail! The male Feca on the left also has the second Iop hair selection.

I guess these might be some of the NPCs that Ankama was talking about.

For everyone, (almost) anything you've ever wanted to know about the Dofus/Wakfu timeline. Contains a lot of great history, even about the elusive Eliatrope known as N (I can't help but feel like he should be a prominent antagonist in our universe as well).

Sadida was already a little interesting before the revamp, but post-revamp they look a lot nicer and more tactically viable. Kudos on the post - it's very well done.
