Well it sounds pretty cool, but I've not actually watched a whole lot of the anime, (kinda waiting from my english blu-ray) so it's a tad shaky as a concept for me personally.

I did have an idea for a roleplay, where the group accidentally ends up jumping through a broken zaap and ends up in some unexplored area. It immediately shoves the group together and could be pretty interesting, but I haven't put much thought into it as of yet.

As I say I don't really have the time r the intention to actually run a roleplay, but i'd definitely be interested in a new one opening up.

Well it might be worth trying to think about an idea for a roleplay then.

Also its less of me not knowing how and just me not being a huge fan of running them, I don't quite have the time or energy to coral and run a group of people =P
Plotting I can do. but I'm not really into running and organising stuff.

We're currently kinda discussing the potential of a new rp in the ooc thread, though that means we've got one idea suggested XD

If people would be interested in a new rp then it's probably worth getting it running.

I am however not so great at running these things, but I could give it a try if we want? Or i'd be happy to collaborate to run one.

Why do people think that the stat '+Heal%' is being removed?

There is no reason to assume this, the stat is still useful.

The reason it has been removed from certain spells and items is because under the new system the general damage increase these spells and items create will increase heals anyway.
If they also had +Heal% you would be getting a double heal bonus.

Items and spells that do not give general damage AND heals will be unaffected because the new changes do not affect them under this new system.

Snow Bow Meow will still give heals as will things like the Eni's Expert Healer passive.

Well i haven't thought about it much as i didn't wanna spend a lot of time on it if noone was interested..

but I did have an idea of a broken zaap that ends up transporting the group (who probably wont know each other) to some unknown island where they probably wanna try to get home.

just an idea though =P

OR raise the maximum level of pets, so they will be weaker at lvl 50 but at the new max level they will be stronger.

This ^ seems like the best thing to me.

Pets were always a very heavy commitment item, both back hen i played Dofus and currently on Wakfu. The 1 level per day thing has removed that somewhat so I understand why they are getting nerfed at lv50, because it now takes considerably less time and effort and planning to get them there.

However it would be miles better if they had the potential, after more commitment and time to be better. Make them level to lv100 and give them 150% (maybe 175%?) of their current max stats to them at lv100. Sure they'll take a nerf at lv50, but under the new rules it's not going to take long for them to get back up to scratch and then be better.

Sounds good to me at least.

Your art is beautiful!

It reminds me a lot of Xa's stuff, though it's a little more loose and paintery, which is awesome.
How long to the more finished pieces tend to take you? I'm curious =)

Also yesss Fecas~

TeaCrusader's artings Hi I'm Teacrusader, figured I'd shove some of the doodles I've done related to wakfu in here. Not many as of yet, but hopefully more to come, especially if people like em.

Quick doodle of my main Crayne.

Clinging to life + Moribund. Pleased with these.

Quick (and kinda shoddy) Sacrier Graphic I did on a whim.

First rough of a young Enutrof character. Her name is Myhra.

Hope you like my stuff =)

Sorry to interject, but this seems like the place to ask.

I was wondering if there are any roleplays running/starting that I might be able to get involved in?

I posted a character in the character sheet thread if anyone's curious (it has pictures ;D)

Sorry if I'm reviving a thread that we didn't want to revive, but I felt I should post a character bio before anything else..

Name: Crayne

Age: 22

Race: Sacrier

Appearance:

Personality: Crayne is, in a word, impulsive. He'll be the first to jump into a situation and the last to think about what he's doing. He genuinely enjoys fighting and craves adventure, which is probably the reason why he's so likely to instigate both or either if given half a chance.

While he is reckless and is quite comfortable placing his friends in dangerous situations he is not going to let them get hurt if he can help it.

Crayne also has a curious quirk when it comes to food. Being raised by a long running Sacrier family he has grown up believing food is above moral boundaries and therefore will not pay for it if possible, and feels no guild in stealing it. While he holds this belief he is smart enough to know others don't, so you can often find him running from a market place or an inn.

Goals: Crayne believes the gods could not have totally left the world and has decided his ultimate goal is to find the Goddess Sacrier.

Abilities: Crayne is primarily a fire Sacrier. He produces the effects of his flame attacks with flints on the palms and backs of his hands, held by dried bandages. He uses the flints to ignite the bandages to make his attack fiercer.

He does however have some mastery of his tattoos using them to attack as well as being able to switch places with people and transfer his own lifeforce to heal them.

Basically he's a Fire/Air Sacrier.

Background: Crayne grew up on a small island community raised by his fairly volatile and quite strict Sacrier mother. His father had long ago left the island and Crayne doesn't remember much of him.

Growing up with a mother like his he became very opportunistic and impulsive, learning to take advantages of situations the second he could and make the most of it. One day when he was around 17 he saw a merchant boat heading for Astrub. It took him all of 10 second to decide that he'd stow away on the boat.

Crayne hasn't returned to the island since, primarily for fear of being murdered by his mother. (His mother is actually rather proud of him)

Thats not completely correct. Average level of groups is a relic of the past.

Every character only compares his own level to the level of each enemy in a group.
For every mob the enemy group is larger than yours, you'll get bonus experience.
For every mob the enemy group is smaller than yours, you'll get a malus.

You could take a level 10 character and a level 100 character in one group and kill big groups of gobbals. The level 10 character would get a ton of xp as the mobs are of his level and the enemy group is bigger. the level 100 character would get nothing

Ah yes you're quite right! My apologies I missed forgot about that detail.

Thanks for pointing it out. I've edited the original post so hopefully people don't get the wrong idea.

Optimal xp total really depends on what you're capable of killing and how easily.

However you can tell what is optimal xp per enemy killed.

You will get the most xp for each enemy if they are the same level as you (within about 10ish level either side) and the mob has the same number of enemies as your party (so if you're on your own, lone enemies are best, but if you are with 4 friends mobs of 5 are optimal.)
This extends to groups, the optimal amount of xp per enemy comes from when the average level of the enemy mob is the same as your character's level.

So in short you want groups who's average level is the same as your character's and who have the same amount of units as your group. Remember however this is for the max amount of xp per enemy.

For example, a single lv10 Gobbal will give for example 1000xp (made this up) to a lone lv10 character. However if that same character killed 2 lv10 Gobbals he may get 1900xp (950xp per Gobbal).
That's less xp for each Gobbal, but unless it took him double the time to kill 2 of them it's not actually less efficient in theory.

Also bear in mind that while you get a xp reduction higher level enemies are worth more xp and will probably give you more xp from the fight.

For example, that lv10 character might be able to beat a lv25 Plant. Lets say the Plant gives 4000xp. Now you'll probably get a % reduction on the xp the Plant gives, but it would have to be a 75% reduction to give the same xp as that Gobbal from earlier. I'm pretty sure the reductions aren't this severe.

As I say, it depends on the character and the enemies. Characters that excel at aoe damage would likely be better killing groups of slightly lower level enemies while single target damage-based characters would probably be quickest killing a single enemy of their level.

Hope this made sense and helps.

I wanted to say I adore the new Fecas.

I really didn't like the old ones, they felt really useless except for damage and I always wanted to play Feca for their support and tanking abilities.
My mind was reeling for a while in the respec as I was presented with so many options, but i've mostly got my head around them and I am having so much fun, especially in a group when I get to spend my turns using all the funky support effects.

I do have a question that due to lack of gears I'm unable to test myself. I suspect the answer is no, but I wanted to pose it to the community.

Do the shields from the water spells (Crashing Wave's Armour & Steam Glyph) Or the earth spell's passive shields scale off anything other than spell level?
eg: Does getting more chance/water% increase the damage that the Crashing Wave armour blocks?

Thanks! and Nice work Ankama!

Cannot insert images on forum. I've been trying for a while, but for whatever reason I don't appear to be able to insert an image into any posts I make.

-I've tried using the button and using the url from both tinypic and imgur. This just results in a blank space as though I hadn't typed anything.

-If I manually enter the bbcode for the image I just get a broken jpg symbol at the bottom of my post.

-Just leaving the url creates a 'click here' link (which I believe is the correct workings for entering an url)

I've tried reuploading the image for a different url and this did not work either.

Is there any chance I've uploaded an image that's too big? or maybe in the wrong colour profile? It seems unlikely..

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forums..

Roleplayer and Artist saying hi. Hi there, I'm TeaCupKnight, my main is Crayne on Remington.
Figured I should post a hello here before anything else.

I used to play Dofus about oh.. 8 years ago or so, and it was a pretty big part of my life back then, but I drifted away from the game and got busy blah blah you know.

And then recently I got some amazon vouchers and decided that I had never got around to adding the Dofus artbook to my collection all those years ago so figured I'd pick it up.

It was about half a day before I downloaded Wakfu.

I have to say I adore it. It's improved on a number of things I used to be shaky about in Dofus and is obviously a very pretty game. It still has the same level of oddball humour I used to love.

And to top it off Sacriers are now able to solo competently (thankyou so much).

Now I could gush a little more but I figure I should probably say some stuff about myself.

I am by trade an Artist, I specialise in character design. I also enjoy roleplaying and intend to make an appearance in that forum once I've got a few more images of my character(s) I'm happy with.

I'm always happy to say hi and maybe play with people if you want to hit me up in game.
Try: Crayne, Futilia or Loiske, those are the characters I play most frequently.

Glad to be back playing an Ankama game and I hope to hear from some people =D

Also here's a doodle of my main Crayne:
