Except you don't have to subscribe to it. You can still play on multiple accounts if you want to. They need to make money and I'd rather have it this way than P2W items and services. And yes, it's awaited system, how would else they make money if they would only sell things that people dont really want?

Why on earth would you rush it to lvl 200 if we don't have a content for lvl 180+?! Whats the point?

I see single element as lacking flexibility. I think you could still do it, but you not have as many options if you do.

Wakfu I think designed to favor dual element or using all 3.

Also what about enemy resistances? Could you do enough damage with a single element against an enemy resistant to that element? Does Wakfu have any enemies that have enough resistance to different elements to make it matter?
Thats why they should make mono gear with a little more elemental dmg, to make up for the lack of choice when enemy has high res to that element.
I really miss mono builds.

Quote (SSBKewkky @ 29 August 2015 12:54) *
You can still be a mono build though. They didn't remove anything. In fact, all they did was add more stuff, enough that it's just senseless to limit yourself to a single element. Nothing has been nerfed or removed.
"they just made all the mobs 3 times stronger, they didnt change any characters, its not a nerf". Same kind o logic. Sure they didnt nerf it but they made it useless, they focused on 2 and 3 builds forgetting about mono.

I think drawing contests are cool as long as they look at the idea and creativity more than just the skill, othwrwise it makes no sense, its not an art forum. Unfortunately, looking at the previous contest, the best drawing (from technical point of view) will win, so if you cant draw, dont even try.

This looks great. I always thought Wakfu could do with distinguishing itself more from Dofus by concentrating on a team of characters. A bit upset that it's another subscription based system, though.
You must be joking, right? 90% of Dofus population plays with 4+ characters already.

Sadida 73%, Eni 60%, Osa 53%. Those are literally 3 classes I play the most already, haha

I agree with putting a board. Maybe when the alma revamp... or whatever the new hub is going to be called, happens they can place a board somewhere obvious in the place as well as all outposts. (Implying it's going to happen anytime soon with them busy bug squashing and releasing hero system).

Honestly, I think party finder should be fairly easy to fix but they've completely forgotten about it at this point.
Exactly, I mean it's just adding a button in a different place, they dont have to change anything about the finder itself.

I only recently discovered that there is actually a party finder in the communication menu. I've never seen a soul using it though. It might help a lot if this was ever actually mentioned to new players.
Ive even seen old players not knowing about it. It should be VERY visible, somewhere in the menu + a board on the market, to make it super clear that there is a party finder.

Than put all teams together and get us something worth owr time.
Yeah, totally, lets make web designers work on the game, because it's totally the same thing. And while we are at it, the cleaning lady in their office should join, and the mailman that delivers their post.

I think it's a good idea.
Dragon- DD and debuffing
Summon Osa- DD and buffing others
GobGob- Buffing and healing, support in general

I've always found it silly - players that care 'so' much about the in-game economy. I've played through every single duping incident almost wholly unaffected. Money has never been my goal, though... so that's probably why.
This. Sure, I'd rather play fair and would love it if others would too, but people act as if its the end of the world and the whole economy on Remi collapsed. I wouldn't even know something happened if I wouldn't read the forums.
"but people act as if its the end of the world"

  • well kama inflation makes harder for non-super veteran/rich/ogrine sellers/6 boxers/"big mass of people" guilds to get HW
  • it's harder for new people to get gear since their price is super high... just look at withered price. When it was added to game I remember my friends could buy it for 2m kamas and now? 7~9milions. Nettlez? I bought mine for 1,6m kamas. Now? 3m kamas.
no wonder people quit Wakfu when they see that market/economy is screw hard and there are "elites"/veterans/multiboxers/cheaters who manipulate prices for the lulz: just example of yesterday sudden sellout of all most expenssive items on market and then people trying their luck and adding random items with hope for easy dosh ... I have to admit that even I done this for fun (I would laugh if someone buy carrot bag from me), well I had to pay taxes but w/e Wakfu isn't fun for me anymore so I don't care if I lost kamas for nothing.

sure you can totally ignore kamas and market in Wakfu and just play without bothering to use both aspects of this game but then you will have to count only on RNG/luck in terms of gear drop.
Prices are going up and theres nothing weird about it. At the beginning everything was for 1 kama, literally. Things are more expensive but you also make more when you drop something and sell it, it's not like people are unable to get it. I just came back to Wakfu after about year break and yes, Ive noticed the prices are different, some stuff is more expensive, other things are almost for free even though they were expensive when I was playing, but I had no problem with selling my stuff and buying new gear for my character after I came back.

How about just, you know, ignoring them instead of giving them more attention? I dont give a damn about people putting stuff on the market for ridiculous prices, I just won't buy it and nobody else will.

My thoughts exactly! Yes, I love poke-osa idea, but in reality, we can't catch most of the mobs anyway, so we end up using 1-3 summons at certain levels anyway, because the rest is not as useful or too low lvl.

Quote
Fluid summons, like the damaging and healing Shawpshooter or the locking/damagng Ocushu or the damaging/positioning Victus will no longer exist. At least, that's how the wording has been so far.

Yes, we have some fluid summons, but most of them are just damage dealers, so we don't really have variety. With fixed summons, we could ALWAYS have a healer, map manipulator, tank, dmg dealer etc.

I'd like them to give us more choice with poke-osa, but if they can't do that, I think i'd prefere fixed summons than using Victus for eternity because theres nothing better. And remember, eventually you'll reach lvl 200 and you'll end up using 2-3 summons available at that level forever.

And then youre gonna ask for a new server every time something goes wrong on the previous one? We dont have enough people even for one server, let alone a few. A big NO.
