Except according to what you just said, the people with the costume are the people that DID get their stuff back.
Everyone who ran into this bug got the costume its global compensation for missing the items for any period of time. Some got back most of their items not all others got back none of them and they are getting different compensation.

This is compensation not marketing.
It is marketing. It is an item that would otherwise not be in the game that was given out for free. The choice that they made to give it out for free to a select few could have been sold to the masses. Whether they made money or not, it is still marketing.

You got the wodent costume for the items in haven bag disappearance bug, check your ticket it should be resolved.
Which is really fuc&$ng annoying because there are a lot of people that wanted that and a lot of people that would have spent money for it.
Ankama's marketing team is the stupidest group of people I've ever seen

It's pretty much up to Ankama to decide whether or not being able to do everything is the correct way of Wakfu or not in the end.
This just isn't true or shouldn't be true. Its should be the choice of the playerbase. The people that play their game. The people that give them money. Its not up to them. Its up to us.

I like the changes. It makes every build more unique, and we don't end up all at level 200 with precisely the same skills maxed.
This could have simply be solved by adding more actives/passives to each class.
More options = more diversity

TLDR - Game change is fresh and interesting and will blend in with the hero system perfectly. People flaming and not willing to give a chance should give proper feedback.
Have you read the other threads? People against it have put in a tremendous amount of feedback. Why they don't like it, why its a poor system, and how they could improve it.

I don't get it, What the hell did this do for duo builds that wasn't spell experience?

It lets you try any build possible as dual element at will between battles. You can't do that currently. Increasing only the spell exp will not change that.
So what happens when you finish testing builds and you find the one you like? That point is now moot.
fighting spores is a bit different than fighting xelorium monsters so he changes spells around
When you're at Xelorium mobs, it doesn't matter what the hell spells you choose if you're fighting Spores.
In addition, people act like fighting mobs are that much different than fighting other types. Seriously, not even close. One build will be used throughout the entirety of a person's character with minor changes here and there just as it is now. People will not truly use this system like you say you will.

Its just going to be another group finder. Everyone says how great is is and how everyone will use it but guess what? It'll be poorly implemented, too annoying to use, and people will try their best to ignore it.

For a fix, could I suggest having class changes bypass the "username profanity check". Whatever it is that checks for profanity, too many consonants, blocked names, etc.

Delete some characters, I had 7 them get rid of 3, but then I've experienced another problem, when I set up everything, I couldn't change my pandawa to a sadida because the game given me an "Invalid Name" error.
I got this as well. Leaves the entire character and anything on it, unusable.

Its like people don't understand that you can spec a character for a specific role right now. Without this restrictive system.

Class Change is bugged After our characters had been imported, I attempted to class change my Sacrier into another class using the Class Change scroll.
At first, it told me that I had too many characters on my account so I deleted a couple. I try again and now I'm getting "Invalid Name". If I attempt to use the Sacrier, it immediately takes me to the class change screen where I left off thus leaving this character and all gear on it, unusable.
I'm hoping you can reimport my characters or cancel the class change; thank you.

Pokemon is completely different and shouldn't even be used as a comparison.
You don't have teammates in pokemon. You don't have a map on pokemon. You don't have "support" in pokemon.
Pokemon has little strategy and a very clear methods of gaining an advantage (elements being super effective). This isn't a thing in Wakfu.

Wakfu doesn't need a system that is needed for Pokemon. It needs something different.

It's supposed to be importing our chars right? I only had one playable server, bworker, and zero chars
For an 'adult', you don't know how to read very well.

If they want to balance classes, they need to finish revamps then buff/nerf where necessary. Limiting people is bad design and is the worst way to go about a solution.

"For our Crafting revamp, we decided to go with more of a 'deck' system. Now, you choose which professions you want to specialize in! But be careful which you choose; you won't be able to use the others! This will lead to more diversity among players and enhance the overall gameplay experience! "
