its a shame that they ruined so much of the gear by only giving specific elemental resists. No one wants that crap

I don't think you understand how this game works. French get something. We complain. We make fun of the marketing team for being incompetent. We get nothing. We get crappy boxes/overpriced scrolls instead. We forget about it.

As a 160 air/earth Rouge and one of the best on Nox, I agree that they're underwhelming and their damage isn't where it needs to be.

Or take any costume and have the ability to pick and choose which pieces we'd like visible, which we'd like to have gear showing through, and which we'd like the default clothes showing through.

Imo, they need to allow us to choose 1 or 2 of the states for us to completely base builds off of without forcing us to use the states we do not want. I think they should balance out the states so if we'd like to stay drunk, we can stay drunk. If we want to stay sober, we can stay sober. If we want to choose 2 of them to switch between, give us that ability but don't force the states upon us

I'm not an expert coder or anything but
'checkfor: uncapturablesummons' seems like it wouldn't be too much different than
'checkfor: dhrellermobthing'

But like I said, I have no idea how things are done.

the trained drhellers on the other hand had a 90% classic stun, so one can see why they maybe wanted to clean those out.
I'm sure they could have removed them without taking out the Jellies

Blue Jelly was a horrible summon anyways. It only heals allies if there is also an enemy in the aoe. Pretty chancy stuff. Go get a Standard Bearer for heals and pushback, or an Ocushu or something. You'll be fine.
Its not that it was good. Its that Blue Jellies are the cutest, most awesomest summons ever. And it had a lot of sentimental value to him. Its like if you had a puppy for years and someone came and stole it. Sure, you could get a new puppy, but you lost YOUR puppy QQ

Can they make it possible to have the larger group's leader stay leader when merging groups through group finder? Say 1 team has 4 people but then gets invited by 1 lonesome person, that 1 person becomes the leader of the group.

Love how you completely ignored boombot so you admit that i'm right?
Boombot to aoe 1 turn. Next turn, you just have to hope boombot's aoe is in a spot to hit things and is fairly situational after that 1st turn. Otherwise, you have to wait until it dies to resummon into a spot where it works well.
Or have your team mate kill it in aoe with the monster you were just aoeing with the boombot?
Which is what we're forced to do. Having to kill and resummon your summon over and over again shouldn't have to be done. You're acting like this single thing is good enough that the class doesn't deserve a revamp at all.

Rogue really needs a revamp.

What Rogues don't have:
  • no viable summons
  • no map manipulation
  • no tanking abilities
  • no shields
  • no heals
  • no revive
  • no kiting mechanics
  • no novelty trait (Double, Clone, Invisibility, etc)
The only thing they really have is damage which, for a class that only has damage, is not adequate enough.
Classes that do more damage than Rogues:
  • Stasis Foggers
  • Fire Ecas
  • Dhrellzerkers
  • Srams
  • Soon Pandas
Not only is the class sub par, it is EXTREMELY boring to play (excluding fire, of course). Its also definitely not the Master of Illusions like it needs to be.
>no novelty trait
>smokescreen
>boombot turning all single target earth spells into ranged aoe
>firewall
This is mainly oriented toward the air and earth branches. Fire is exceptional.
Smokescreen is useless and is used by almost no one. It makes you completely blinded your next turn and as earth or fire, means you can't attack unless up close.

Rogues don't have map manipulation? how about the ability to pull party members at no ap cost O.O how about the ability to push enemies with 2 ap O.o
So being able to move 2 separate targets for a total of 2 cells counts as acceptable map manipulation?

Im sure that will change once the steam users complain of not being able to dualbox full parties. This change is so destructive to the current paradigm that there is no good long term choice but to go all in with it. Really the worst thing they could do is make this change and then not do all alts.

What this change does is makes it so you no longer are a character, you are making multiple characters. People in the future who start the game new will not make one character, they will make a full party worth of characters, and just go like a single player game. Kind of like atlanta in that respect i guess.

The 5 character slot limit also solves the sidekick 'problem', since you will always need at least one sidekick to fill out a full party.

Games officially single player game now.

Id switch to dofus but they will probably do this there too.

I just dont understand why they keep watering down the player interaction in this game, at launch it was a fun ecological/political simulator, and now its a dead empty world that will see people just playing by themselves the whole time.
Does no one read here? There will be a limit to how many chars can be in the group.

also, new people to dofus/wakfu might not know how to dual or triple client and it's just not something a new customer would know
People who go through the Steam client can't multibox at all without either making a second Steam account or downloading the standard client so this will certainly help them

Not that I think it's fair at all to be giving away items that take a lot of effort to obtain, but I do think it's actually a decent attempt by their marketing team. A low cost box that people can buy a lot of with the chance to actually get something useful in game.
I take it that you rarely play/bought these kinds of gamble boxes in other f2p MMO. Its one of the best selling thing in most of them.

It will make the dev/publisher really happy since these kinds of box is a master bait for whales, something that SEA/APAC is largely known to dwell.

However, its also one of THE worst thing viewed as most players, even f2p players. The chances to get the actual item itself is absurdly low, hence the gamble box. You`re pretty much have to buy TONS of these boxes, just like gambling/lottery in real life.

There are better option in monetising a f2p game, this gamble box policy sure makes lots of money but its not for the health of the game itself, nor the community.
I wasn't saying it was good for the game at all but strictly from a money making perspective, their marketing team did a good job at doing that in comparison to the crap they do here
.
