Amount of rune powder is random? Today i decided to crush my axe (habrazieff) that i got the the frigost quest as it isn't very useful, it gave 38 powder which is very nice and made me crush the other axes i had on alts.

Then i noticed the second axe gave only 28 powder and the third 26. I don't think the amount of powder lessens each time you crush a crush a same item so i can only think of a random ratio.

So not only is the effect of the rune completely random but even the amount of powder you get each time, in a way the system of crushing items hasn't changed at all since the revamp.

I request some info about powders, Troyle or Sabi please please. :'D
Also it would be great if the amount of powder per crushed item was slightly increased.. ;_;

From what ive crushed the powder has ranged from 20 - around 60. It doesn't go down after every crush (thats what I thought at first too c its just random - but to what extent? I dont know.

I crushed yellow gear and got 76. Seems the amount increases with quality.

fun fact -

crushing a tauxic hammer before the powder implimentation could potentially result in more than one rune

and in terms of powder, I feel as though each item has a set number of powder yieldable (vocabfail) and then that number remains true for said item

like we can pretend milkar cape gives 32 class 10 glitterpowder or whatever but the ammy gives like 68 or something because AP is better than not AP

or something

i dunno

its fine by me as long as they get rid of the random aspect, this game has already to many randomness on places where it shouldn't be needed.

Powders are bad. Hammers are bad. Runes are bad. The stats they give can be good, bad, or broken.
