Legally they can't work on weekends in France, so that's out of the question. Hiring bug fixers would help immensely but they can barely hire enough devs to work in this game in the first place. They have a barebones team working on it. Frankly they're already spreading themselves thin by trying to expand to other regions without first expanding their current team.
I'd be really shocked if every place in France closes Friday evening, and only reopens on Monday.

I have serious doubts.

I bet they could schedule it so everyone works one weekend a month, and has other days off that week.

It's not that difficult.
you literally have no idea what you're talking about
It's not that hard to work on a weekend. I've done it before. I'm sure other humans do too, even ones in France, even those who work with computers. If part of this is actually impossible, I'd like to know. Please let me know!

This is quite upsetting, because I know you are right. I'm a mac user and there aren't that many games I can play with my PC friends. Over a year ago we found dofus and we really liked it, until they kept changing the game, so many issues, never listening to the players. I was fed up after they implemented the guild war system which completely ruined the game (for me) as the last great thing was the community and it just became so hostile, nasty and full of drama I couldn't take a moment more, and before that there was a mass exodus with the weapon change.
I was hearing great things about Wakfu from ex Dofus players. My boyfriend and I started playing and we were really attracted to a lot of the elements. The more I'm playing the more I'm realizing that Wakfu is headed for the same fate. A lot of the issues are just unacceptable.
It is just really disheartening, but there is nothing we can do but whine and complain or find another, better, game.

Well I am sorry that you feel that way, and I am more sorry that I feel that way. They really messed up the event this year, and above all they are not responding to any of our complaints. That is what hurt me the most.

It has nothing to do with difficulty. They LEGALLY can't work office hours during the weekend. If they respond to forums on the weekend, they aren't in office while doing do and aren't getting paid for it.

So, like gas stations, grocery stores and hospitals aren't open on weekends? That seems rather dangerous. I'm just really curious now.
Well it seems ankama is under staffed and now with this revelation, I can kind of understand why things aren't getting done. One of the things I noticed with Wakfu over Dofus was how much effort and care they put into all the details (mostly the animations, environment and world elements). It's something I really appreciated. They must care about this game, or use to at one point.
I shouldn't speculate why, I wish they would explain to us why, or hire an international team to pick up some slack, or something.

Edit. Ha, they edited my other post. I'm in trouble, oops, sorry :x

I think last year was more fun. The bugs were hilarious in the dungeon and it really looked like there was halloween with the orange gobs running around everywhere. This year ppl didn't even bother to try the dungeon after hearing about the problems and don't even wanna bother stacking pp candies or getting the "wicked" title since there's so little orange gobs right now. Those pp candies suck anyways. Why is it that there has to be "trick and treat" in the same candy, just stupid. I hope 7th won't be as much of a disappointment.

OFFICE jobs, not ALL jobs. Lots of offices are closed on weekends in NA. France requires it. It may b different for other jobs, like reduced hours.

Wow, you defeated 666 gobballs? I'm trying but there's just so few--and I have no idea how many or how little I've killed so far besides the fact that its higher than 66. v_v

It doesn't simply drop, it's an achievement reward, you need to kill exactly 666 to get it. Anyway, it's still obtainable.

Hii ty for the info, it would be nice though if we had a counter to know how many gobbals we killed already.

And why so mean about the Black Wabbit Costume thread? It was my intention to let a DEV respond to that topic, is that so wrong? And also I thought you wanted that costume too...

I do want the costume sfdkjgsdkjgsdf

and I used the fairywork drops as a counter because the amount I got at 666 was similar to a friend that got her 666

hers was at 370 mine was at 400 so if you are getting close to there its safe to assume youre getting close to your 666 kill

I used pumpkin pieces as markers. I checked how many I had when I got the 66 achievement and did times 10 to have a rough idea of how many pumpkin pieces I would have at that. I also put my characters in pp gear so I would drop as many pumpkin pieces as possible. After transforming the pumpkin pieces I now have a little over 1000 halloween pp candy :3

It may also be an achievement reward. However, I got seven last year. nearly all of them were obtained before reaching the 666 mark. All were gotten using my enu main, some of them were from pouching the gobbs. Further, all of them showed up in the battle loot screen. The same enu just got another one this year, again it was present in the battle summery screen, with the rest of the loot. Since I reached 666 last year, I cannot trigger it again this year. In any case I have not killed 666 this year, not even 66.

Where are you getting your data? It does not match my experience. Lol I will let you know if i find another one.

I'm terribly sorry, I've confused the terms "costume" and "insignia".

understandable, since this insignia has a visual effect. They did occupy he same equipment slot once upon a time.

Assuming, we're talking about the orange light thing, the Jack o Lantern actually drops from any mob, like pumpkin pieces and evil fishcakes.
