I picked a good time to show up. The eps tho? The EPS THO?

To my understanding its like having my angrrr become notably better. .9% or whatever for 1% of damage, along with .4% for 1% :3

unless I'm wrong and have no idea what I'm talking about. It is only 7 AM.

EDIT: yeah my bad its .4 damage/1% life not the other way around.

Still tho, at max angrrr I'll be getting quite a bit of extra damage from those eps :3 the stats on them also are pretty solid.

5% damage from the belt don't seem quite as influential bUT ITS STILL A SOLID BELT.

Damn, ankama is the BEST at hype.

this shushu gear is severely lacking in dodge QQ

The belt has 20 dodge, it's one of the better items of the lot as well.

So, uh. What exactly does that earth BP do? And where can I get a fire varient >.>

also, much pumped, many excite. The belt and the heal BP both have 2 states connected to them, which sounds like double the fun. I don't know if I want to use either of the BPs shown. The earth one in particular isnt for me.

the heal one I'm on the fence about. Yeah, I'm a sacrier, that means huge HP, huge pay off, but

the heal would ruin angrr, which is already scarse in group fights, being where my HP is at its best.

At the same time I don't exactly like the other stats on it. So just the belt and eps for me xD

After a little more thought, I think that second equip, the breastplate with the 2% heals, will be quite nice. It's perfect to help mitigate the little damage that Fire Sacs do to themselves while not healing them too much so they lose their damage, and Earth Sacs have so much hp that it'll be a moderately hefty heal to keep them running long enough for the healer to get to them.

The more I look at these, the more impressed I am. I'll be spending all of my time at the new island until I get my hands on one or two of these items.

It converts 35% of damage taken to earth damage I think. That way if you have high earth resist, well you know.

It's +10% dmg if under 75 and another 5% dmg if under 66, totaling 45% dmg from the belt if you are below 66% hp; it's a pretty epic belt. x3
------------------------------------------------------------------
As for the epps, I honestly don't find them any better than magmog epps overall after doing some calculations.

60% dmg at 1 hp with no crit chance added.More realistically at around 45~55% dmg in total since you aren't going to be doing a whole fight at 1 hp.

The magmog epps on the other hand... (assuming you are doing a trade in with the other 3 pieces on)

It's 31% fire dmg + 1% spell dmg + 2 base dmg units on punishments (value % conversion = (1 * (% dmg / 100) x 2 , which is about 12~16% (a lot less significant on other spells without such rapid base growth), 2 crit chance + 2 more crit chance from set bonus, 3 block (relevant to some I'm sure) + 5% set bonus dmg, and 12 resist + 5 resist from set bonus.

All in all, 45~55ish (60 on cling) dmg, 123 hp, 15 ini, 1 kit, 10 backstab dmg, 14 resist

vs.

49~53 dmg (on punishment, anywhere from 37~45 on other spells),
115 hp, 20 ini, 4 crit, 3 block, 17 resist.

Certainly comparable, but not at all superior, and this is considering a fire sac being at 50% or lower hp for most of the fight.

As for a fill in when not using the other magmog pieces, it is much more competitive, but when simply replacing the epps of the set, I don't see them as better to be honest. u w u

It's actually 20% of damage, not 35. The armor itself does give 35% earth resist though (although no general resist, but I think its effect more than makes up for that for high earth resist chars :3).

So how exactly can we get the new gear? I only had like 20 minutes to check it out, but looks like outdoor enemies don't drop anything? Is the only way to farm the 'arena' every day and get resources?

Also this is what I've found on encyclopedia
And those recipes seems underwhelming I'd say (consuming Apprentice armor piece and usually has less dmg than Apprentice it consumed in craft had? what?)

Wha-? 2304x Essence of Shushu for the Tormented helmut? was Ankama drunk when they were implementing these mat requirements?

I would not even know what will be the Requirements for lvl 190-200 Gear once those levels are unlocked...

Considering that lvl 150 helmet requires a Sage Helmet, I'd say 2 Wa Wabbit Crowns would be enough.

And around 500 Pieces of something that drops with 0.1% from just one single Monster Type

Why on earth are these recipes using multiple high level runes as well??

The sage belt to tormented belt isn't a big upgrade for many classes. And yet the recipe requires 4 class 15 sparkling runes.
