Even though I quit Wakfu long ago, I'm both terribly shocked and a bit happy.
First of all, I still believe a new community manager and a good team behind him/her would have done the trick - and don't tell me that no one had applied for the job, because I know that at least one person applied. GG Ankama in not seizing the opportunity. You did your worst there and you got no excuses.
Then again, this is a chance for the german community to forget about the past (as hard as it is, because we did have good times) and embrace a new future. At least something happens to change the situation and I pray to all of the twelve that the good inhabitants of the server can keep as much as possible - player names, achievements, equipment, guilds, haven bags, haven worlds.
Ankama! This is your chance to do something right in the long series of messing things up, so PLEASE take it.
We all know that fairness is important, so you have to come up with good solutions that don't ruin things or at least don't ruin too many things in both former communities that now become one.
Yes, the decision is hard and there were good alternatives (at least to me), but wouldn't you agree with me that eternal stasis isn't good? Motion - Wakfu - bears new hopes, no matter how.
If I know one thing about the german community, then it is that we always can make the best of it in any situation. How else can one explain that certain players still go on playing after all the kicks in face we suffered throughout the years? I'm sure the lot of you will survive this step as well. Keep up the good work.
