For you to get that achievement, your nation must be at war. Currently, there's an agreement between all leaders that all nations are allied to each other. Even if you were to convince a leader to temporarily declare war so you can get the achievement, it typically causes a lot of butthurt, so it doesn't happen.

However, you can get a guard uniform from killing outlaws. This is rather easy if you can pay someone to let you kill their outlaw (10 times) for the guard achievement.

I'm still level 114, but everyone else wants to reach level cap while I go my own pace so I get left behind. It actually took me MONTHS to get 100 because I wanted to go my own pace, but the level cap is just making everybody want to rush and you feel like you're low level again.

This. If you can't keep pace with other players, you get left far, far, far, far, far behind. This means you simply find no one willing to play with you because they are all nerds grinding 24/7 and have level 130+ characters while you get punished for having a life.

Simply put, this game is not suited for casual gamers. It's more suited for kids who play 10 hours a day at the expense of a social life and career.

Back when the cap was level 120, I enjoyed this game fairly well. I didn't feel as pressured to level up in order to enjoy content with friends. Now that the cap is being pushed to 200 very soon, this game has become nothing but a grindfest. If you don't grind at wabbits 5 hours a day, your character will be so shitty and useless to your team that you might as well just quit.

My level 115 eniripsa and level 108 xelor are complete shit now.

On my osa I made after the update, here's what happened to me.

I was doing the tutorial quest (Zinit) and was getting super pissed off because I didn't want to do it. I then logged off for like a day. The next time I logged on, I went to Bonta and then walked to 5th Bond Avenue. Suddenly, the nation quest popped up, allowing me to choose a nation.

This means you don't have to finish the quest. It's either A) time-based or B ) you just explore a nation long enough before it lets you pick a nation.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure you can just boat to a nation of your choice (for free) and do whatever the hell you want before choosing a nation.

These recent changes screw me hardcore. It's damn near impossible to level some of my low-level characters because none of my friends (all 120+) are willing to help grind because the only things my low-level toons can survive at are lower level dungeons/mobs. Of course, they don't want to sacrifice XP/hr on the already hellish grindtrain to help me level. Solo play is damn near impossible, and this is coming from someone who doles out an arm and leg to multi-account.

It was VERY poor planning to limit solo play, and the challenge 5 minute timer was the icing on the cake. They might as well just remove challenges because that's where they're heading anyway. Did I mention that the WIS gear nerf was shitty too? Yay, now I have like half of the wisdom in my training set-up so I can grind 2x longer.

Thanks Obama.

It's pretty much straight up grinding. You can only do quests once every 5 minutes now (and they consistently nerf challenge xp every month or so), so the grind gets worse and worse. You're better off finding a group with people of your level. It's easier to level if you're in a group.

That quester's block bullshit is unbelievable... You've effectively killed off solo players. Well done.

I agree with aquabeauty and OP. Back in beta and when I first started playing again, the game wasn't that bad (read: grindy). Now, however, with the experience curve and nerfing of challenge XP, it takes bloody forever to get good.

Playing this game as a college graduate student is virtually impossible. There's literally no content for casual players to enjoy, and everything is predicated on being high level/having good gear. The only way to enjoy this game properly is to play 10 hours a day.

Question when you trap the dp is it able to do anything?

From what I hear, the Dragon Pig isn't able to actually deal damage on players (Note: He doesn't "skip" a turn, but rather uses buffs on himself and then ends the turn). From what I hear, this sounds not so much of a bug, but rather poor mechanics. In my mind, it seems the dragon pig should be able to be boxed in by summons, at which point he'll just start using some long-range non-LOS moves.

In short, using cra beacons, dolls, barrels, etc. should be considered a legitimate strategy against all UB. It's Ankama's fault for not implementing some attack that damages/destroys obstructions and/or some long-range attacks.

**I emphasize this point because I believe this is what separates "exploiting a mechanic" from bug abuse. If the DP simply automatically skipped his turn, then it would be pretty likely to be a bug. However, since this is just poor mechanics for the boss fight, it's more of an exploit since you're using it to your advantage. Regardless if this exploit is fair or not, players shouldn't be punished for it (i.e. getting banned, stat reduction, etc.). However, in this case, it might be OK to simply delete rewards associated with this.

It is basically Ankama's failure to resolve this, though.

I find it stupid that that's there's only one way to kill him and it's a secret and everything else is abuse.

It's not an abuse if you're friendly with the devs.

Ankama, tell me exactly how whether or not DP can be trapped with beacons, dolls, and barrels wasn't your FIRST thought when testing bugs... :\

Also, how the hell are we expected to guess at the strategy you want us to use? I mean, I can think of some strategies that might work now, but how should I know whether or not it'll be considered an abuse and get me banned? Don't say it's obvious, because it isn't always black and white.

What gets me is that i saw black crow and count hareborg haven bag kits on dathura. Why restrict these from nox? There is money to be made.
You can buy the wakfu magazine to get those on nox right now if you really wanted them.

Also I have been waiting for the rest of the class bedrooms to be released for months now. Masqueraider specifically I mean you guys can't give us an emblem so why make us wait for some damn decorations.

But... I don't want to buy a magazine because people will think I'm weird. :|

If you're desperate enough, there are some Ogrines giftcards that can be bought in the Ankastore. These can be used to buy yourself membership, and it should work, although it basically forces you to buy a 3 month subscription at once. This can be pretty damn expensive...

I think players of Wakfu needs to relax more, This is just a game and this hasn't event gotten to end yet. DP is something going be useless soon enough as we move on to higher lvl. Infact some of Wabbit gears already better. Wakfu players a lot more aggressive it seems.

Also Dofus never had this kind of "Strategy" problem. What's the big deal if someone else kills UBs besides you? Gets the gear? Note; That someone will eventually kill it. You are not the last person to take down an UB. If there is bug / abuse report it. It will be taken care of, No need to act like a douche.

  • Hyprion

I like this guy, and I agree with you. Rather than letting Ankama deal with this issue, you have people who are butthurt about not getting DP drops themselves and making an ass of themselves.

In what way has this affected me or anyone else? Zero.

For the record jailing enemies like Yech'Ti'Wawa also isn't intended. Notice how you're not supposed to be able to get the barrel in blocking positions of the map? The only reason they haven't stabilized the barrel by now is because of how absurd of a proposal that is. Things like beacon, the dial, etc. are also that way.

All Ankama has to do is give them an AoE move that destroys anything around it if it doesn't use MP during a turn. I don't know why that's so difficult...
