Exactly, saying it won't work simply because they won't put a system in on their end is proof positive that where they said "... they lack the imagination need for such an alignment to work correctly". If you and some other people got together and decided to do mercenary riktus as a thing, then having a system or not shouldn't stop you.

Make a guild and advertise it to the community as a mercenary guild, take bounties from people regardless of nation. Provide video/screenshot proof of you bounties and get paid for it. It may take some time and effort to get going but I could see a community taking advantage of something like that.

The limits on something like this is simply your imagination.

I've only recently come back to the game, so someone that's been around more recently can feel free to chime in about how things are now but:

1) The marketplaces for each nation used to be linked (All of Amakna was linked together, but not with the other nations, same with each nation) Although with the addition of the astrub marketplace, they may have changed that.

2) The heads of each nation set the taxes for each area they control.

3) Not nearly as good as it was when EVERYBODY was low level, but I've been playing on a new character and have been able to find some good deals on the market

Edit: Went looking around, it appears that the nations are now linked together, and then astrub has it's own market as well

Question from a returning player So I played in the first closed beta, and at the first launch. Came back with the F2P conversion and noticed some things have changed. Big one I'm curious about is the specialty skills/passives. I know that before you used to get points to put into those every level, but I've made it to level 15 and haven't gotten the first point yet to put into those. So my question is: At what level do you start getting points for your special skills/passives?

Except that they are letting subs test them for free each week, oh and the knight which you get from a quest, not P2W

Chance, Water Damage%, and Heal% all increase your healing, however All Damage% does not.

You can press S, click on a skill, and there's a slider to show you the damage output at each spell level, then you can use the Wakfu Elements website to look at gear and figure out how much of the elemental damage of your choice you'll have, then just multiply

If you know you're going to be rogue and just trying to decide on the element, why not jump in and try them both out? Free Respecs each month and one at 30 means you're not locked into a certain element once you start.

I didnt know that but I appreciate it and am glad that stuffles tried. I'm still kinda new so all I can do is try to fix a kama minter in sufokia village haha,

Every little bit helps, I was able to come in near the end of the repair crusade in Amakna recently and gave it a good go even though I'd only been subbed for a few days. Gather wood and making kama to help out goes a long way to getting the nation repaired.

As the old story goes:
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

You probably could if no one needs healing, just keep in mind that will take spell xp away from your heals everytime you cast a mark and it's best to focus on 1 or 2 spells with the current system

So, what I am hearing from this is that I probably chose poorly with my class, and there are no good healing classes in this game.

Check the dates on the thread, we're actually in a pretty good spot right now as far as healers go, we should never be able to heal for as much or more than the enemy does damage, because now that none of our heals use WP, we could just make a fight last forever

Just curious, have you tried putting points into either Expert healer or Absorption and leveling on mobs that like being in melee with you and only using Invigorating word? Doesn't seem all that slow to me, no downtime at all
