This haiku's named "Greed".

Just to be clear, it's not meant as a hate poem or something towards anything. I just randomly though of it all of a sudden when walking to the toilet at work. Yeah, too much info. Yeah, I think of poetry at work. AHEM.

I don't need to help
other people, can't you see
What's in it for me?

The following haiku's are all to be read separately, just to be sure ^^

Watchers of the woods
Through forests idle walkers
Spread their Treechnid roots

---

Watchers carved in woods
These cursed trees, lurk in shadows
Shushus found their hosts

---

The roads have got ears
Glaring hills watch your step
Must leave Snusnitch Reef

Flames cast big shadows
At night, the monster cried - or
Milimoowolf tried

Random Almanax Dragoturkey Collection Fun! Not really an organized event, but a spontaneous little piece of 'art' at the Almanax Temple with random players and friends. Just felt like uploading this ^^

Say cheese!

Emotes, emotes! ^^

Also loved the forum avatars - and I like we got a title

Fairywork is nice (tho not very unique) - but it would be more useful if we got more than 1 of them, since they're single use

Unfortunately, we aren't able to alter the event once it's been started but I do think your opinions are valid. I will be making a report at the end of the week about the Advent Calendar event. So, if you have any other thoughts or feelings about this event, please reply to this thread.

And in case any of you missed the link (on the News,) here it is: click here

Thanks and, for those taking part, good luck!

Glad it's being looked at.

Understandable it can't be changed at this point - and thanks for the reply

Well, dear Picaro, you most probably will need a cloak...or umbrella, because there will be a waterfall of angry thoughts/feelings coming concerning this.

OHGOD RUN. Here's some magical chocolate that gives you the power to teleport with a nice special-effect.

Dear Sabi,

Before Wakfu adopted a new p2p/f2p model and announced Wakfu would not require p2p anymore to be played, you posted these messages:

24th of June, 2014, 15:00 PM:

Quote
We are entering a new era! WAKFU will be available on a new subscription-free game model and you'll have full access to the game areas! You will be able to explore the World of Twelve with limitless access!

"But what will be taken away from us to compensate for all this?", asks the young Iop.

NOTHING! Somethings in Wakfu are far too awesome to be removed! Epic combats, economy and ecosystem (...)

etcetera.

26th of June, 2014, 18:00 PM:

Quote
All players will have full access to all zones, they can fight all monsters, do PvP, level up without limit, and access to all the unique WAKFU features such as economy, ecosystem, craft and politics.

Okay, so nothing would be taken from the current players that paid if they were to follow the coming f2p model. I figured Ankama just changed to another model to make money, as it's a company of course and a company has to run. Seeing as everyone has been told before that 'everything will stay the same', I do not get the following:

Quote
From the 1st of December to the 25th of December, we’re giving those with Active Booster packs the chance to claim twenty-five gifts.

I've always joined this little event and I really enjoyed it. Yay, it's time again! ... Heuh? Gotta sub for it?

I can understand that new things added to the game, or bonuses or something would require payment. Money has to come from somewhere, after all, there's nothing wrong with that. But this cute little Christmas event (that has also become super ironic, because paying to get the 'gifts' does not seem to entail the thoughts behind Christmas), that has been here since Wakfu got launched, suddenly demands the opposite of what Ankama has been promoting their f2p model with.

This really feels unfair to me. Not the fact that things need to be paid, but the things that have been communicated and ditched again at a later point.

I really, REALLY hope the in-game Kwismas event won't require subscription as well. Aside from this being too ironic for words, I'd be mega disappointed and I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one.

Sad and a bit angry kisses (if kisses can entail anger xD),

Rayne
