Fort Kamas!
I dunno how much attention y'all pay to the french side, but.... for a while a group of players have been discussing the desire to form their own dedicated community, for various reasons - more space, organised economy and ecology etc. They called it Fort Kamas.
And, lo and behold, the dev's heard their call. On the 17th November, they will be building the fort into the world of Wakfu, right here: ![]() And they're not just gonna snap their fingers - they are letting the players build it themselves. I admit this feature was mentioned early on, but I thought it had been lost in transition, like some others. Guess I was wrong. Viva la Ankama~ And that brings me on to mah next thought - if cities can be created, is it too far-fetched that later they'd be destroyable as well? And also, when they implement the government system, will each city have a governor? Rival guild politics, city-scale wars.... 's all good. More info in this thread if ye can read French.... I doubt we'll get that kind of attention until the english beta, or even the full release, but do check it out. I'll be there anyways. It's stuff like this that make me think Wakfu's worth the wait This post has been edited by El-Azra: 15 Nov 2008, 12:41 |

You think we won't get attention? Gather some players and go for ankama speaking french, they may listen. And i think even if one group got their wishes, lots of others didn't, even among the french themselves.

moved to tomorrow...
building eh? , lets see what we need.. first , plans for the building, and then materials , the plans should be made by guild owners or other "goverment" people , materials shall be gathered from certain resources , and how players would build? i think its like planting howere more planned-type planting. those are my thought, forgive me my not so good english. |

Building cities, a huge milestone in MMO innovation I believe. This new addition is definitely going to test my and perhaps everyone else's expectations when it comes to 'governing'. I can't wait to test it out.

Sounds lovely. However, I predict big mess and chaos.

As you can see in the picture we have to collect the resources in the red square! After you collect some resources you have to deposit them in the brown thigs, each "box" is for a different resource.

Search is your friend, but to answer the question yes damage increases when spells get higher level. Go to your skill menu, right click on a spell, at the top of the screen that pops up there is a slider that will show you what the spell does at what level. Some spells do more damage, some spells get longer ranges, support spells buffs go up, some last longer. Back on topic, what is this fort going to be when it's built anyway? And what do you get for helping out, and how do you help out exactly? Was anything else added in the update? |

They couldn't think of a better task. We only have to gather a zillion planks within 8 days!
Keep in mind the thing in the red box says recolté(e)s, meaning it is already being collected. Surprising how many people apparently like to grind/cut wood that much. Also, am I the only one whose entire inventory, including swap meet content, is suddenly for 90% broken, while the prices of repairing have raised?
