Open Beta is Open again I couldn't find any balloons, but I think you get the general idea.

The Wakfu v2 Open Beta is available, so update your client, or download it fresh (the link is still in the FAQ), and you can play.

Go forth and beat up wildlife, craft things into other things, and generally run around!

Some things you may notice:

Your old characters are gone. They were wiped because they wouldn't work with the cool new stuff.
There are only 3 classes at the moment (Iop, Cra and Ecaflip). Don't worry, the others are coming.
Everybody looks different. They redesigned some of the art resources.
Crafting is different. Erm, and it's pretty fun.

I don't know, discuss it amongst yourselves!

Someone already put up an Ecaflip guide.

I think we wont be seeing Osa, Sadida and Enu for a long while. Before we were supposidly getting 9/12 of the classes... and then they updated to say only 3. They'll probably gradually re-add those others before getting to the ones they said were hard to do.

It'd be really nice if the interface somehow noted what increases when a spell levels.

Although having each spell level contribute to an overall elemental bonus is particularly brilliant. biggrin.gif

Apparently they're working on that. I think the main problem is how they've moved a lot of the information over into "mouse-over" pop-ups, so there's very little way you can interact with it without the information disappearing because you moved off the original trigger. Right-click does bring up a proper pop-up, but at the moment it's the same information without any more advanced control. You can see the higher levels of the support spells... but only if you can afford them (and only if they're unlocked).

You usually get an error message in red about why not. The two I've seen are either that you can't reach it to start the fight, or there's already another fight in the same area or something.

I dunno if this happens to every one or maybe my graphic card is not that good enough. But i created an Iop and once i chose the place where i was going to start..... i started watching and after taking a few steps my char just ended up where it originally started from. I tried walking and it kept happening.. Then i started choosing little step which helped me move.... I am wondering if this is a glitch or is it just me x.x
thanks :]

This thread is not really suitable for Technical Help issues. You may not have enough RAM for the current client (some generally reports can put usage as high as 700MB before people start having to restart their client, Ankama are working on reducing it as much as possible) or your Internet connection might be busy with other things.

The game is mostly in French because the translation is not a priority at the moment. This has been said and discussed numerous times on this forum, and nothing has changed since then. There is no timetable for the game's final release, yet alone an English-specific server.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. But if you haven't actually looked, only 3 classes are up. Now, to reiterate, Where's my Feca!?

Osmodas is my favorite class, but I never thought I'd be loving Ecaflips so much if the classes weren't limited right now. They're still tweaking skills for the other races, so just gotta be patient.

Agreed, except I went with a Fire Iop. I must say the versatility in combat is on par with Dofus Osas, which I do love biggrin.gif
