Wakfu's newbie question thread.
The concept of this thread was previously used on another forum. Due to its success and the current situation of the Wakfu thread (though admittedly not bad - yet) and the concern of a few of its members I have decided to create a "Wakfu's newbie question thread."
The rules to this thread are: 1. If you have a question, post it! No question is too big or too small to answer nor too complex or too idiotic. 2. While answering a question, try to be as nice as possible. 3. Do not make fun of a person for asking a question. Each of us has our own knowledge of Wakfu and others that are new to the game may not know where to find tofus and what not. 4. If you have a question and have posted it, give it a day or two to get answered. Give the members of the forum time to answer it! Not everyone is on these forums 24/7. 5. Try to read through all of the previous posts as your question may have already been answered. We understand that there may be a lot of posts in this thread, but at least make an effort and skim through a couple of pages. 6. Do not... I repeat... DO NOT feel embarrassed for any question that you ask. If you don't understand something, chances are there are tens of dozens of other Wakfu players out there that are wondering the same thing. So feel free everyone to post your questions! To start it off I will post a question Where can I find piwis? ~BB This post has been edited by Blackberrry: 13 Dec 2008, 23:23 |

Hehe BB, good idea, i saw your message and i am glad someone created this topic. Because not everyone knows everything, and it is our duty, as beta testers to help out people who play Wakfu for the first time.
Well, piwis |

Its certainly good idea, so ill ask: Anyone has any idea how fast level up tailor or how to get more bags? Best way to level tailor, as far as i know, is through leveling those bags. However, those bags require linen fibers which are obtained from the high-level gathering resource. Since i haven't leveled professions i can't give you any more info, but i hope this help, at least a little bit. |

I SO need one I believe weapons drop randomly but if it helps I have seen someone shouting about dropping a sword from a tofu. Though I have not dropped one myself, it may be a viable option to go fight some and *crosses fingers* hope for a drop. ~BB This post has been edited by Blackberrry: 3 Nov 2008, 02:31 |

I SO need one I have dropped one ages ago but the wipe----wiped it It is a random drop and i think any monster can drop it. Of course, the level of that monster must be at least the level of that weapon.- For example, i don't think a lv 2 minet can drop a level 9 bow, but a tofu certainly could (dropped a hand today level 9 from tofus, so just to prove it...) |

So far, i don't think you are able to make a shield because there are no available resources for making one. There are only 2 shields....that wooden one and the tofu one....

This is not a question, but a comment/discovery
I found (in case anyone cares) Crotton (?) and Whiit (super wheat?) on the beach above the light blue lake (look at you map). It's very high level materials (whiit needed agriculture 80 Now you agriculture people have something to look forward to. (also I randomly found green beans somewhere |

Currently the open beta version of Wakfu only runs in French/some translated English. A fully English server has not yet been created and the translations have not been created so for now we must be in our half French half English versions of Wakfu. ~BB |

Maybe I missed something, but I cant find how to repair equipment. Could somebody fill me in? There's a cluster of machines you can find by looking at the big Map.(the benches for agriculture, weapon making, apotechary, all of them are in this closed area near the lake of river or whatever the big water is) One of the machines is called a workbench, I think, and it has a hammer (or sth) like an icon when you click it and says repair items. It takes you a few seconds and few kamas to repair. There are usually at least 7-10 people standing by it. It's the most crowded one. Hope this helps. |
