The mystery of the Zaaps Well, in the quest 'Zaap away!' in Dofus, Xelorat Masket tells you that Lord Xelor, praise be upon him, created the Zaaps. How is it, then, that Grougaloragran says that the Eliatropes invented them?

Even if this is the wrong section, i wasn`t able to find the other topic so i`ll answer that on this one.
Xelors and Eliatrops are great users of wakfu, the eliatrops can use portals naturally,and xelors use different devices to do that, one of them is the Zaap.

Yes, but the problem is who invented them. There are two sources and they say different things.

It`s simple:the eliatropes invented the portals, and the xelors adapted the technology(if there is any)to the zaaps so anyone can use portals,so as a result xelors invented the zaaps

I'm pretty sure when Goulgaloragan tell Yugo about his race, he says "They invented a magnific way to travel around the world using wakfu", Yugo reply "The Zaaps?" and Goul reply "Yes".

Still - they invented the WAY, and also, "The Zaaps" could mean the portals, not those arcs... So, theoretically, if you would ask a dragon what is a Zaap, he would say it is the portal, but a Xelor would say it is their arc containing the spell. Selfish.

didn't they say something about a goddess eliatrope so wouldn't they mean that the do have a god?

Maybe Xelor and Eliatrope worked on them together and the disciples said that it was their god who made them to make Xelor(or Eliatrope) look good.

Well Eliatropes don't exist in Dofus , so I belive Xelors Invented them first.

Also at Dofus Incarnam , Xelorat Masket next to the zaap says:

" This dammed Zaap never works. I've hit it with hundreds of different hammers! I hope Xelor comes to fix it soon . By the Twelve, I'm tired. I can't even go to toilet until my shift's up. "

I'm pretty sure , by Xelor he means the God Xelor.

Maybe the Eliatropes created the portals and the xelor's do the maintenance? xD

Eliatropes existed before Dofus. About 10 000 years before. Islands of Wakfu. Those dragons are so sweet!

Eh-hem. My theory: Eliatropes invented Zaaps. Eliatropes leave the world and are forgotten. Xelors find the Zaaps. Xelors repair the Zaaps. Xelors hope Xelor himself will help them with the Zaaps.
