Stasis I know there is a newbie question thread but it is getting excessively long to try to read through and Ive done searches of the forum to try to find an explanation of stasis. I generally just get lots of unrelated hits, or ones that dont really answer my question.

So I am hoping that someone with more knowledge than me will come in here and give a nice detailed explanation of stasis and how it works for all curious adventurers to read and learn from. Also a question of my own, is Wakfu the opposite end of the stasis spectrum? I have equipment that have requirements such as wakfu percentage greater than X. I really have no clue what that means or how to change said percentage.

So, as I said a nice little summary or tutorial would be greatly appreciated and useful.

Thank you.

Which is why, today, I gutted it of anything that was already covered in the compiled post at the start of it

Stasis is now explained on the first page of that thread.

Stasis isn't simply "robots that shoot laserbeams". It's essentially "unbalance", so over-populating an area with frene will increase Stasis. Culling an over-population of Gobballs will increase your Wakfu, even though you're killing animals.

And one of the Devblogs: Wakfu vs. Stasis

Wakfu is trying to maintain a "mid-point" in the environment (blue tasks)
Stasis is the extremes (either too much, or not enough) (purple task)
on your blue-puple bar at the bottom-middle of your screen.

Frankly, if you start a post proclaiming how much you looked, and then it turns out you can be answered with a few links in obvious places... how hard do you think most people think you looked?

Now, if you have specific questions... that's a different matter. Strangely enough, you are allowed to post questions in the Newbie Question thread.

Does the stasis have any effect on our characters in any way? I know our little follower change color, but do we gain bonus/penalty in any way?

Well, some weapons and equipment can only be equipped if you have a certain % of Wakfu or Stasis.

Then there are some laws about how much of either you can have in order to live as a legal citizen, don't know on which Islands though. I think both Sevamor and Emelka are neutral whereas Ohm is based on Wakfu. So my guess is that Mork is focused on Stasis. But I might be totally wrong.

And there are the permanent skills, but this is only speculation and is still being investigated. Further information here, anyone that can help is appreciated.
