Seriane Kerm
Seriane Kerm:
Seriane is a mercenary alignment that takes "contracts" in exchange for money. Unlike the other alignments, it relies heavily on role-playing, both from the Serianes themselves and anyone who wants to hire them. (In other words, anyone can take Bontarian or Brakmarian only for the game play benefits, but only people who role-play their characters can be a Seriane.) The wings that appear above the names of Jiva Seriane players look like wooden handcrafted wings that incorporate daggers. Are They coming to the world of Wakfu? |

There is some talk about "Militia" players to combat player-criminals (as in breaking in-game laws set by player-politicians). But there hasn't been any clear details.
It's very unlikely any specific group that exists in Dofus is likely to make a reappearance in Wakfu. Maybe as references to "the past" etc. And certainly no support NPCs. It's perfectly possible that near-equivalent factions might exist though, either as a loose collective or a specific selection of items etc. |

a couple weapons referencing the factions would be nice.
if there's a library of some sort in the game, then I'm sure Ankama would hide some Seraine Kerm references there, as well as many other dofus references. and anyway, isn't this 'Millitary Faction' still in testing, on the Jiva server? (correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't played Dofus in ages) if so, it's barely made it to the world of Dofus, let alone Wakfu, set far, far into the future. |

In Wakfu, the "militia" concept is not a faction, but some form of profession tied to the politics system. On Dofus, it used to be RP events run by a GM on specific servers (French ones), but I don't think they've done anything with it recently for years. There's a Bonta city (in the boufball episodes of the cartoon), but I'm not sure that extends to a faction as well. I beleive that there will be various cities (more than 2) run by different governors, each city with its own militia played by real players. This makes sense since militia men are effectively NPC's and it's been said that no NPC's will be included in the game. Check the latest Devblog post 04/30/09 for more details. and whos to say since we basically have control of the out-come of wakfu, that we cant make a militia? maybe there will be requirements or maybe bonta, brak and kerm will be in the game? either way, if role-playing will be needed for seriane kerm count me in!
